SISU MBA career talent show Isaac-Kenneth Sharingtown adhering to the concept of Borderless Management and Cross-cultural Communication, is exclusive to the dream ladder from Europe—— Isaac& Kenneth Associates(ISK). It is organized for students career development by the SISU MBA students, with student participation, sharing and operation. Sharingtown is set to enhance mutual understanding through the transfer of resource information among students, help to establish and operate workplace social network,and enhance the shared value. Now it has three sub-brands: Linkedin, Toastmasters, and Lecture. Linkedin is a collision platform for insiders to ask amateurs. Toastmasters is a great place to practice speaking skills. Lecture is a platform for insight into the growth of senior people and listening to the career stories of industry elites.

2.Mentor-Mentee

Mentor-Mentee (M2) is a career development program cooperated between SISU MBA and enterprises, aiming to build an effective platform between MBA students (Mentees) and professional coaches (Mentors).

For Mentees:

· strengthen self-awareness and clarify career goals

· seek professional career development advice from mentors

· improve personal leadership and self-management ability through mentoring

· gain insight into the industry and accumulate more contacts

For Mentors:

· make contributions to education and give back to society to realize self-worth

· access to opportunities to understand the needs of young talent

· improve coaching skills

3.Career Development Courses

SBM careedevelopment office arranges lectures on relevant topics to address the common workplace problems and confusion faced by current MBA students. Topics cover but not limited to career planning, industry analysis, workplace etiquette, interpersonal communication, interview skills, etc. The guest speakers are senior experts in the field of management consulting or enterprise management or human resource management.

4.Job and Internship Resources

SBM career development office posts full-time jobs, internships and recruiting opportunities on its website or in its student management system, where students can browse and apply for suitable job opportunities. As you learn more about summer internships and other career-related experiences, you'll find that there are many ways to look for opportunities. You can choose to participate in the on-campus recruitment when the office hosts a job fair, where many companies step on campus to interview for summer internships and full-time positions. You can also choose to apply for a job on your own, looking for opportunities outside the mainstream recruitment process, when the headhunters you know from Sharingtown can help you. You can start your own business either. SBM career development office continues to develop and provide as many resources as possible to help you achieve your career aspirations.

5.Business Visit

SBM career development office develops and makes good use of enterprise resources, and organize enterprise visits from time to time to provide students with opportunities to understand the business operation process of enterprises in person.

Enterprises or organizations that have already visited include Yangshan Deep-Water Port, SGM, L'Oreal Group, FESCO Adecco, Jixiang Aviation, Hongqiao Energy Center, Ingersoll Rand, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Schneider Electric, Carrefour and other famous enterprises.

6.One-on-one Career Counseling

During the MBA program, SBM career development office offers three types of career counseling:

Mentor-Mentee

The six-month program allows students to participate in systematic career development counseling and to make long-term and systematic career development plans with mentors. The mentors have been trained systematically for the qualification of business coach, and 90% of them have an EMBA or MBA background.

One-on-one counseling with campus counselors

Make an appointment to consult with teachers in SBM career development office on revising resumes and cover letters, establishing and implementing job search strategies, preparing for interviews and on-boarding communications, and analyzing potential career opportunities.

Workplace Tips

Students can participate in one-on-one career counseling activities, and have in-depth discussions with senior experts on professional issues in their industries and functions. Personalized advice will help students gain insight into themselves, explore industries, and achieve their career aspirations through accurate job matching.
