The First Medical Industry Meeting of SISU MBA Alumni Association was Successfully Held

On December 29, the first medical industry meeting of SISU MBA Alumni Association was successfully held at the conference center of Hongkou Campus. Alumni from the medical industry, entrepreneurial founders, alumni of brother schools gathered together for in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development of medical industry and explored possible future cooperation opportunities. Wang Li, Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch of SISU SBM, and Wang Bo, Executive Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center of the School participated in the event, and Zhu Chanqiu from the Student Affairs Office of the School's MBA Education Center, hosted the event.

At the beginning of the event, Deputy Secretary Wang Li introduced in her speech the great progress made by SISU SBM in recent years in terms of school development, academic research and studies. Then, Deputy Director Wang Bo said that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the school and the 10th anniversary of the MBA program, the school hopes to establish a circle of all walks of life for alumni through a series of activities to further empower alumni's career development.

During the event, Mr. Zong Jiawu, Operation Director of Nuotong (Shanghai) Digital Medical Technology Co., Ltd., shared his 20 years of experience in the medical industry, including preparation to start business in the medical industry, lessons learned and other know-hows. “As regards with doing business in the medical industry, one needs to start with funds and resources, not only to be able to obtain funds that can be managed and utilized through various financial channels, but also to dispatch as many high-level or even top-level medical resources as possible, he said. Medical care industry has a very high threshold. Doing business on one’s own in this industry is full of uncertainty. It can be said that if you intend to start a business in the medical industry, you must rise from failures.

Afterwards, Ding Mingzhi, an alumnus of the 2013 MBA class of SISU shared the crossover experience in the medical industry based on career development.

Mr. Li Xiaorui, a practicing physician of China Orthopedic Surgery and CEO (founder) of Shanghai Xinerxin Hospital Management Co., Ltd., introduced the specialties of major hospitals in Shanghai, and elaborated on the current structure of the medical industry in Shanghai.

The alumni and all the guests introduced themselves and discussed freely. Everyone expressed high anticipation for this event, and said that such events provided a telescope and Wide-angle lens for alumni on the career development.
