Exchange program, double degree program application process
1.Only those who meet the following requirements can apply for the exchange program
- Study in SISU for at least one year
- Pass the English interview organized by the school
2.Application for exchange program
(1)Applicants for exchange programs should fill out the overseas exchange program application form (annex 1 to the Guidelines for International Exchange Program), and send the application form along with your English resume to the email address of the International department: iao@shisu.edu.cn. Subject: overseas exchange + name + class + student number
(2)For application of double degree program, please fill in the application form of double degree program and send it together with your English resume to the email address of international department: iao@shisu.edu.cn. Subject: overseas exchange + name + class + student number
(3)Pay attention to and follow the MBA interview notification system
3.The results will be published in the MBA system
4.The school will nominate the selected students to the partner institutions through the project list, and after the recognition, the school can start to prepare the procedures for going abroad.
5.Procedures for processing abroad
(1)The school will provide students with transcripts, reading certificates and other documents to help them apply for visas
(2)Students must apply for student status reservation before going abroad
a.Log on the website of Graduate School, Shanghai International Studies University to apply for student status reservation
b.Fill in the declaration of suspension or retention of MBA students of Shanghai International Studies University.
(3)Provide documents required by each department and fill out attachment 1: Guidelines for International Exchange Program, attachment 2: application form for double degree program, and attachment 3: special scholarship system for overseas study of MBA Program of Shanghai International Studies University.
Excellent undergraduate and exchange student application process
1.Only those who meet the following requirements can apply for the project
a.Students have Chinese nationality, do not have the foreign permanent residence right. And students have good political quality, moral and academic excellence, physical and mental health.
b.Applicants who have reached the age of 18 at the time of application shall be full-time undergraduates of grade 2 or above.
c.Excellent character and learning, physical and mental health. The average score of the students shall not be less than 85 points (100 points system) or 3.5 points (4 points system), and they shall be enthusiastic about participating in social practice and public welfare activities.
d.Students have submitted formal invitation letters and admission letters to foreign universities and institutions when applying.
e.Non-foreign language major students should meet the specific score requirements of the corresponding project:
1)Students majoring in foreign languages who are in the second year of undergraduate study (including) or above (one foreign language should be the same as the language used in the country of destination of study).
2)Students have studied in the same language country for more than one academic year (8-12 months).
3)students participate in the ‘national foreign language proficiency test’(WSK) and meet the standards.
4)Students have been assigned by the ministry of education to attend relevant language training in the overseas study training department and obtained the certificate of completion (advanced English class, intermediate class for other languages).
5)IELTS (academic), TOEFL, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Korean proficiency test, the score reached the following standards: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 95; German, French, Italian and Spanish reached the European unified language reference framework (CECRL) B2 level, Japanese reached level 2 (N2), Korean reached TOPIK4 level.
6)Students meet their language requirements through interviews and examinations organized by the overseas study abroad institutions (they should indicate in the invitation letter of the foreign party or issue a separate certificate).
f.Students who meet the above requirements are eligible to apply for the “Excellent undergraduate international exchange program” and the undergraduate exchange program.
g.The following applications will not be accepted:
1)Student who obtained the overseas full scholarship support;
2)Student who have obtained the qualification of state-sponsored overseas study and within the valid period;
3)During undergraduate study, student used to enjoy the state scholarship fund for overseas study;
4)Applicants who apply for two or more programs (including) at the same time (applicants are not allowed to apply for other related programs again until the admission results of the declared program are announced).
5)Student who gives up country sponsored study abroad qualification to be less than two years.

2.Application process
a.According to the notification of school from February to March or September every year, fill in the application form and send it to iao@shisu.edu.cn for registration
b.The application materials are as follows:
1)Personal application form for excellent undergraduate of School of Business and Management / exchange student program (annex 6-7)
2)Qualified TOEFL or IELTS transcripts
3)Grade point report card issued by SISU
4)exchange application form of student of School of Business and Management (annex 8)
c.After registration and screening, students will be informed to attend the unified interview by email
d.Publish interview results and guide students to prepare application materials

2)Unit recommendation form
3)Photocopy of valid id card front and back
4)Formal invitation letter/admission notice
5)Transcript
6)English proficiency certificate
7)Study plan (annex 9-10)
8)Two copies of commitment letter sent by students (annex 11)

3.To prepare for the relevant arrangements of exemption from examination or English study, accept the pre-trip training of ministry of education, Shanghai universities, schools and colleges, prepare for the dispatch of visa and other matters.
Academic postgraduate application process
1.Only those who meet the following requirements can apply for the exchange program
-Study in Shanghai International Studies University for at least 1 year
- GPA meets the requirements
2.Application process
a.Fill in the application form for students in School of Business and Management to go abroad for exchange (annex 12)
b.According to the notification of school from February to March or September every year, fill in the application form and send it to iao@shisu.edu.cn for registration
c.Prepare the application form for students in School of Business and Management, SISU to go abroad for exchange (annex 12)
d.After registration and screening, students will be informed to attend the unified interview by email
e.Publish interview results and instruct students to prepare application materials (please prepare according to the requirements of different schools).
f.Receive pre-trip training and visa preparation from ministry of education, Shanghai higher education institutions, schools and colleges.
