9 Spanish Undergraduates from ESIC Business School Joined SBM

With the beginning of the 2014 autumn semester, nine students from ESIC Business And Marketing School (ESIC), Spain joined SISU SBM for one-year study. Affiliated to Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, ESIC enjoys a high reputation in Europe. It ranks 4th in Spain and 11th in Europe, and its marketing courses ranks the first in Spain and the top 5 in Europe.

These nine ESIC students will take 11 management courses in English in SBM. After being improved for several years, these excellent courses have become exemplification of unique features of SBM instruction. After studying for half a semester, they have broadened their horizon and enriched their knowledge of the companies, management styles and market in China, according to the Spanish students.

ESIC students took a lot of activities held by SBM. By taking part in organizing activities and performing on the Opening Ceremony for Grade 2015 earlier this semester, they settled down into the SBM family quickly. And during the Management Week from late November to early December, they shared many ideas about planning and organizing. The effective organization and the students' good reactions show that the ESIC program enjoys very high sustainability.

Hosting Spanish students for the one-year study in SBM is an important measure of SBM internationalization strategy. The school will enrich the professional characteristics of the courses, create more high-quality English courses on the basis of the present six-course module, and contribute to international talents preparation for the university. This program is supported by School of Chinese Studies and Exchange, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Accounting and Finance, and Office of Logistics. Teaching international students enriched the variety of international culture communication in SBM, and a lot of high-quality courses will be developed.
