Recently, SISU SBM was admitted as an official member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which marked a significant step to internationalize its management program.
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the global leading institution to accredit school of business with program of bachelor, master and doctor on business administration and accounting, with a mission to advancing the higher education quality of business administration and accounting. Its founding members were Columbia University, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, and University of Wisconsin and so on.
In 1919, AACSB released the first accreditations for schools of business. AACSB’s accreditation stands for the highest quality management education worldwide. It is a significant sign for business school to achieve AACSB accreditation.
As for SBM, the admission as an official member of AACSB is the first key step to apply for AASCB accreditation, which lays a solid foundation for its application in the future. The membership of AACSB provides SBM with a great opportunity to communicate with world-level business schools, enabling SBM to raise the international academic profile of its management education and cooperate with world’s top universities.
